      I am very proud of my PhD…so perhaps that is the best thing I have done! It wasn’t always fun though!! But I was pleased with it, and it felt like an achievement. 🙂

      I studied tool using birds in the forests of New Caledonia. That was amazing for many reasons. It was amazing to see the southern hemisphere (I’d never been there before), the birds were fantastic to work with even though at times they were so clever they could open the cages we kept them in. It was also amazing because I met people that were really different to anyone I had met before. The people there have a lot of modern things but still live in a kind of tribal environment. Its really cool to see how they live!

      For me travelling and getting my degrees have been the best things. Travelling was brilliant fun and I’ve been to some great places and learnt a great deal about other countries and cultures and about myself. Getting my qualifications means no one can take those achievements away from me and they have allowed me to learn SO much about this planet. I feel privileged to have done these things 😉
