      Hi Olivia,

      Thanks for the question. I’d spend it on publishing a little book on the Precambrian. Early life on Earth is fascinating, but few people know about it like they know about the dinosaurs. So I’d do my bit to make sure more people find out!

      Hello! I would use it to create an interactive exhibit at Marwell Zoo. We are training the monkeys to use touch screens for psychological experiments (they volunteer – they don’t have to do it!) and I want the visitors to understand our experiments. So, I would use the money to buy a similar touch screen for the visitors to use, so they can take part in the same experiments. I think it could be quite fun.

      I will spend it for the sake of evolution! I am a member of an organization called Hardworkers for Evolution and for a while I wanted to invite high school students in my school and give them a daily tour, maybe I can use the money for that.

      I’ve thought about this and I’ve decided I’d like to donate the money to the Bristol Dinosaur Project run by the people in my department. This project educates people about their palaeontological heritage and does research on our very own local dino Thecodontosaurus! I should really update my profile page to say this!
