      Getting to do lab work and research in far flung places and getting to present my work at conferences- it’s great fun to meet new people and discuss ideas and getting papers published is also very rewarding! There are quite a few good things about being a scientist!

      To get to talk about my work and get people excited about science! I love giving talks and sharing what I do, I think that is the best part of being a scientist 🙂

      I also love that you can test ‘any’ crazy idea of yours, no strains attached! You just need to come up with one, challenging yes, and I love it.

      I think the best thing is having the freedom to come up with your own ideas and test them. Also the hours you work are flexible so long as you get your work done!!
