Geology is the study of our planet’s evolution. It mainly consists of the study of rocks
(rocks contain massive amounts of information about the Earth if you know where to look ;))
But it also comprises the study of how those rocks were formed and other planetary processes like volcanos, earthquakes, mountain-building. In geology you can also study the structure of the entire planet (from core to crust) and how the planet changes over time! Does that help?
