      I have been a lecturer at the University of Portsmouth for 4 years – seems like a long time!

      I have been here for two years. They will pay me to stay for four years but that includes writing a thesis that explains all the research I have done. That takes a long (long long) time!

      I’ve been working on my PhD for four years- that’s generally how long it takes to do a PhD in this country- although in the US they can take up to six years! I’m nearly finished now though! Hooray 🙂
