      Hi Tommyboy,

I am working on a few different projects at the moment. I am analysing some data on gorilla facial expressions and writing a paper about it to publish in a scientific journal. I am also writing a book on primate communication for University students, and I am also writing a paper on facial muscles in gibbons, which is a type of ape. All good fun! Thanks for the question,

      Bridget

Hello! It is 9:30am here at the moment and I have been working on an experiment since 7am. Well.. I must say that I am working on this experiments for the past two months but the experiment does not! Therefore I am troubleshooting, and shooting and shooting 🙂

I’ve stopped doing science for now to write up my thesis. So at the moment- when I’m not answering your questions I’m frantically typing my work up!

At the moment I am writing a paper, making a poster to take to a conference next week and answering questions!!

The paper and the poster are both on the same thing- they are about a project investigating teaching in animals. Teaching has been found in humans (obviously!), meerkats and a certain type of ant. Weird! We are trying to figure out what is so special about these animals and what they have in common that made them evolve this particular behaviour when animals like chimps have not.
