      No, I don’t think so! We are fairly similar to Homo erectus right now…but animals don’t usually turn back into previous species, they just change into somehting new.

      I see no reason why we would evolve to resemble a past humanoid primate. Evolution is not a drive towards progress but it is also not a drive towards becoming less well adapted for our environment!
