I don’t have any specific disabilities, so I am fortunate. I have a colleague who had her finger bitten off by a chimpanzee, which is one of the hazards you have to avoid!
I don’t but disabilities don’t stop people becoming scientists! I know a few people with disabilities who work in my building and some of the best scientists we’ve ever seen were or are disabled.
Hi Jamie, I don’t have any disabilities but I’m convinced they shouldn’t stop anyone from pursuing science. I have a good friend, and a really smart geneticist – he’s in a wheelchair, which has never been an issue.
