I’m not religious. I’m an atheist- I don’t believe in any god or gods and I don’t believe the world was created by an intelligent or knowing force. However, I do appreciate that religion is very, very important to the people who practice it- whether it’s Christianity, Islam, Hinduism or anything else. I believe it is a great source of comfort and guidance for people and I think that’s a very positive thing. We are all different which is brilliant (it would be SO boring if we were all the same).

I am not religious at all. However, the origin of religion is actually a fascinating thing to study, why people believe what they believe and why religions in particular are so good at spreading their ideas around the globe are questions no one can answer yet (this is very like the work I do though!)

Nope. I was raised religious (muslim in particular) but now I do not believe in religion. I think everybody is free to believe whatever makes them comfortable and that we should all respect believers/non-believers.

I am not religious, but I don’t think it is necessarily incompatible with science. There are many excellent scientists who have faith.
