Question: are there unknown speices on earth

There are BIG numbers of unknown species on Earth! Every animal and plant group on the planet is probably hiding something from us! Don’t get me started on micro-organisms- there are probably LOADS of undiscovered species living in all sorts of habitats including boiling hot acidic lakes. Life gets everywhere on this planet! The only trouble is that so many species are also going extinct because of habitat destruction and pollution 🙁
