I think the highest recorded G-force withstood by a human was a staggering 46g!!!! But this was only for a few seconds.. I think for an organism with a fairly large mass anything greater than 50g would cause it to loose consciousness permanently. Fighter plane pilots have to withstand up to about 15g I think.

I have no idea. That is a hard question. I think the highest G force a human ever survived was 46g (that is MASSIVE) for 1.1 seconds and normal pilots can withstand 9g for a few minutes.
The rest of us would pass out around 5g apparently!
Smaller animals would be able to survive less I would think!
